What is the source of value?

We have the first session of our series on value theory this Wednesday

“Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.” This quote by Oscar Wilde could not describe more accurately how people use terms in everyday life without understanding their actual meaning.

Intuitively, you would probably say you know what value is, but could you explain it to someone? What is the source of value? And is there just one type of value? Come along to our event to learn and discuss the two major theories of value in economics.

Like in all our events, there will be a short presentation followed by an open discussion. Refreshments will be provided.
